“ It was slammed when we came in, but the staff were kind and friendly. We sat at the kitchen bar, which I HIGHLY recommend. The head chef and kitchen staff were incredibly hospitable and we were offered tasting spoons with sauces from various different pastas all of which were insanely delicious. Pizza crust was soft and authentic and all ingredients were excellent quality. We finished the night off with a lemon tart with some exquisite meringue. ”

Our first night, we had seats at the pasta bar and witnessed the chef mixing, flattening, cutting, and weighing the pasta. * We tried the pasta arrabiata, ravioli, short rib pappardelle, and the pasta with eggplant and san marzano tomatoes. All of them were so good!! * The restaurant has a pizza oven and their margherita pizza tasted divine with great texture. Must eat it hot before the sauce makes things too soggy. * The bruschetta is pretty interesting with the drizzled honey, giving the dish a sweeter taste. It compliments the sweet tasting tomatoes and apple slices. * Highly recommend making a reservation for dinner time. * Free street parking may be hard to find, but there are some nearby paid lots which hopefully should have space. ”

We started by splitting the peach salad with their freshly made burrata, and "exquisite" doesn't even begin to cover it. The creamy burrata paired perfectly with the sweet peaches – a truly delightful start to the meal. For our main courses, each dish was a masterpiece. I indulged in the short rib pappardelle, swimming in a rich and creamy Parmesan sauce that was simply divine. My wife raved about her ravioli, and my mother-in-law was in pure bliss with her lasagna, which you could tell was cooked with love in their wood-fired oven. Even our son, who we got a pizza to go for, declared it to be in his top 5 pizzas of all time! That's high praise from a discerning young pizza enthusiast. The entire experience at Come a Casa was phenomenal, from the warm welcome to the unforgettable food. It's clear why this is the happening place to be in San Jose del Cabo.
